Chain Hoists – Air Powered Toku
3rd March, 2017 | by excitemediaThe Toku Air Hoists range features a number of standard models with lifting capacities up to 6000 kg. Other larger and robust 10, 25 and 30 tonne capacity units are also available on application.
All Air Hoists are compact, lightweight and robust. The are supplied with either a pull cord or pendant control. For excessive loads a built-in load limiter / overload protection supports the devices. Toku hoists come standard with, a silencer, totally enclosed disc brake, cast steel housings, upper & lower limit switches. All units, except the 250 kg capacity, are suitable for underground mining applications. Optional chain buckets are also available.
The 250 kg capacity version is only 7 kg in weight, which increases its functionality. Smooth operation is guaranteed with Toku Air Hoists and they are excellent for inching, both up/down in movement. The standard chain fall is 3 metres; however other lengths can be specially ordered.

Bollards Removable Sleeve-Lok

Available in below ground and surface mounted applications, they are specifically designed for the protection of shop fronts, car yards, as well as many other business assets. The bollards restrict unwanted vehicle traffic, while still maintaining the free movement of pedestrians.
Designed from a robust steel, it’s in-ground design incorporates a hinged hole-cap, which locks the post into place, with a padlock. Unlike other products, this feature ensures the bollard is not just another “hole in the ground”, but is padlocked into position. It is secure and easy to operate, and are an imperative security assistant. Ideal for a number of workplaces, the Sleeve-lok Removable Bollards can be installed into existing or new concrete, bitumen or gravel surfaces. Available in 63, 90 and 140mm diameters, with a choice of in-ground sleeves (sold separately).
There are also zinc plated chain ring kits available when it is required to create a fencing to restrict any unauthorised entry in your premises.
They comprise of two M10 eye bolts which can be screwed down to the sides of a bollard. These eye bolts can be used to install chains or ropes to create fencing. Each chain ring kit has 2 x M8 or M10mm standard eye bolts and you must request we provide the tapped holes on the bollards when ordering. Labour cost is included in the kit price.

Electric Chain Hoists – Porta Hoist

Using only 240V single-phase power, these are suitable to plug into a general power outlet. All models include an overload-limited clutch plus upper and lower limit switches for extra safety.
As standard they are fitted with ergonomic, low voltage IP65 pendant with 2 speed control plus emergency stop. The low speed is variable and the high speed is fixed.
Supplied standard with 6m height of lift, a chain bucket, 5m pendant cable length and 3m power cord. A powered girder trolley is available for these units.

These Crowd Control Barriers are an economical, portable and versatile solution. Workers can easily move them due to their lightweight design and they can be set up quickly. When in use, rubber feet make them sturdy and their plastic construction is durable. For stacking, the black recycled rubber feet pivot to the flat position and the fencing easily stores away.
Crowd Control Fencing is available in two sizes and in either yellow or orange safety colouring.
