Drum Lifter Rotator Forklift Mounted
3rd March, 2017 | by excitemediaThe Forklift Drum Rotator range is designed to lift and move 205-litre steel drums over 360-degrees rotation. An operator requires minimal effort, as the drum is fully controlled by the forklift during its operation. A robustly-constructed device, our Forklift Drum Rotators feature large ‘worm-drive’ gearboxes, which provide automatic braking during rotation. If a worker stops using, turning the handle or pulling the hand chain, the drum will lock into position. This unique mechanism prevents dangerous and uncontrolled movements, unlike other cheaper drum rotators, which are known to put users at risk.
The drum rotators are available in two models:
- Model DDRNH – (with handle) is suitable for drum rotation when raised up to chest height. The rotation is carried out via a fitted hand wheel.
- Model DDRNC – (with chain) is suitable for drum rotation up to 3 metres above ground. The rotation is carried out using a hand chain – similar to a roller door mechanism.

Their unique design features a beak-type grab that provides a high clamping force to secure the drum during transport. This means travelling over uneven ground can be accomplished without the attachment losing grip.
Beak Type Drum Lifters are available in two models – DBG1 for single drum lifting and DBG2 for dual drum lifting. Both types are suited to 205-litre steel drums, plastic drums, open-top drums or ring lock drums. With only a few moving parts, it is extremely low maintenance.
Beak Type Drum Lifters are easy to equip to the fork and when in use, still maintains a clear driving vision for the forklift operator.

Jib Cranes – Articulated

Available in wall, column or ceiling mounted where the work area is a premium. Articulating Jibs can rotate up to 360° on the primary boom and 300° on the secondary boom. Capacities range from 50 to 500kg with spans of up to 4.8m.
This little task saver has low headroom and enables tools, vacuum tube lifters, balancers and hoists to be suspended and give absolute, infinite and effortless coverage over work stations and around obstructions.

All models are equipped with a dual-density flame arrester, to stop flashback ignition. Flash Arrester stops a naked flame from entering the can during either filling or dispensing. The contents of the can are protected from fire as the flash arrester allows for the increased pressure to vent safely without causing an explosion.
These dispensing cans permit easy, one-hand dispensing of liquids directly onto a work surface. Leakproof, self-closing, brass dispenser valve minimises spills and controls excess. Brass valves are ideal for use with flammables. Textured, high-density polyethylene body provides a firm grip.
