Our Beak Type Drum Lifters make drum handling incredibly easy. Their unique design features a beak-type grab that provides a high clamping force to secure the drum during transport. This means travelling over uneven ground can be accomplished without the attachment losing grip.

Beak Type Drum Lifters are available in two models – DBG1 for single drum lifting and DBG2 for dual drum lifting. Both types are suited to 205-litre steel drums, plastic drums, open-top drums or ring lock drums. With only a few moving parts, it is extremely low maintenance.

Beak Type Drum Lifters are easy to equip to the fork and when in use, still maintains a clear driving vision for the forklift operator.

How does this Drum Lifter work?

When using our Beak Type Drum Lifters, a forklift operator does not leave the driver’s seat. The low profile construction and design ensure the operator can steer the forklift whilst maintaining a great viewpoint of the drum and attachment. The unique Grab Beak mechanism allows high clamping force and the whole device is built with few moving parts. A forklift simply moves forward, lining up the device to engage with the drum.

Two models are available!

The type DBG1 has been designed to lift a single drum, while the type DBG2 has been designed to lift 2 drums side by side. A contoured rest acts at a support point low enough down the drum to prevent damage to the drum.
