Drum Lifter Rotator Forklift Mounted

The Forklift Drum Rotator range is designed to lift and move 205-litre steel drums over 360-degrees rotation. An operator requires minimal effort, as the drum is fully controlled by the forklift during its operation. A robustly-constructed device, our Forklift Drum Rotators feature large ‘worm-drive’ gearboxes, which provide automatic braking during rotation. If a worker stops using, turning the handle or pulling the hand chain, the drum will lock into position. This unique mechanism prevents dangerous and uncontrolled movements, unlike other cheaper drum rotators, which are known to put users at risk.

The drum rotators are available in two models:

Model DDRNH – (with handle) is suitable for drum rotation when raised up to chest height. The rotation is carried out via a fitted hand wheel.
Model DDRNC – (with chain) is suitable for drum rotation up to 3 metres above ground. The rotation is carried out using a hand chain – similar to a roller door mechanism.

Our Forklift Drum Rotator lift, rotate and move drums with ease!

These forklift attachments easily empty standard 205-litre drums. A fast and economical solution, the Drum Rotators feature impeccably sized gearboxes, which improve the life and durability of the attachment. Its durable design also prevents failure and quality operation. They have a sturdy belly strap to secure the attachment and its further locked into place by an over-centre catch. Accidental release of the catch is prevented via a locking pin that is inserted before the tipping cycle.

Additional Options on Drum Rotator Models

Drum rotators can be fitted with Plastic Barrel Options (PBOs). This allows the device to be used with plastic drums and barrels, as well as standard steel drums. If these additional features are required, please specify during selection. The DDRNC-PBO is available for chain operated devices and the DDRNH-PBO is available for hand operated devices.

Please note: Drum Rotators fitted with a PBO option reduces the Working Load Limit to 350 kg.
