Gas Cylinder Trolley and Lifting Cage
3rd March, 2017 | by excitemediaOur Gas Bottle Trolleys are available in either 2 or 4 cylinder models. They allow for easy and safe transportation of heavy gas bottles around a workplace. The benefits of these trolleys are huge! Not only do they improve manual handling processes, but workers are not exposed to risks of physical exertion or strain.
Either models of our Gas Bottle Trolleys – the MGC2 or MGC4 – will improve the workplace safety culture in your organisation. They are both equipped to support one type “G” Oxygen and one type “G” Acetylene gas cylinder. Provision has been made to store all hoses inside the cage. For optimal safety, our trolleys are equipped with internal load-binders to securely fasten cylinders when moving. They can can be transported manually, by forklift or by crane and both are supplied with a 1tonne x 690mm long lifting crane sling. The MGC2 is fitted with handles and 400mm pneumatic rubber wheels.
Take ownership of your risk management processes and ensure gas cylinders are moved with ease and support. Gas bottles are not included.

Free Standing Racks

They solve a variety of storage problems and can also accommodate, cable spikes and other tool holders available on the market. There are mobile versions available, called Line Feed Trolleys. Models 1895 mm high and double-sided racks with louvre panels on both sides and they stand on steel gussets but have no base like the standard units.
The three rack models, single-sided, double-sided or economy are available with or without a range of bins. When ordering bins please advise colours Blue, Green, Red or Yellow.

The slip-on attachment quickly mounts a forklift within seconds. Using hydraulic mechanisms, the device clamps onto a bin and rotates it for emptying. Fork Spreader with Load Guard

With an incorporated load guard for added protection, it flexibly moves heavy loads without damaging products. The load is evenly distributed over the spreader and the attachment quickly connects for fast and efficient use. This production is perfectly suited to moving and transporting items like plasterboards, roof sheeting, timber, plastic tubing and similar materials.
When connecting to the forklift, the Fork Spreader slips on by placing the fork tynes into the attachment’s fork pockets. The spreader is then further secured with a safety chain. Additionally, the Fork Spreader boasts an incredible Working Load Limit (WLL) of 3000 kg and is finished in enamel paint.
For easy shipping, the unit is supplied as a flat-pack for onsite assembly. As such, the load guard requires bolt-on fixings to the beam and all components are included.

Adjustable hook-on points allow the position of the forklift forks to be moved to the optimum position and still allow connection of the fork spreader to the carriage. Quick release bottom hooks ensure safe and easy connection without the use of tools. Outer forks are adjustable between 1300 and 3500 mm centres allowing the fork spreader to be used as a wide load attachment. These are perfect for transporting otherwise easily damaged and flexible products such as plasterboard and timber, leaving minimal gaps between the packs. Supplied with outer forks 1070 mm long.
