  The Bin Blaster safely handles wheelie bins of any size (80-1100 litres). With the turn of a lever, the device lifts and tips the bins to an ergonomic height. No clamping or modification is required.   The Zappstrapper is smart, easy to use and offers single-handled operation.   The Brittain Group is honoured to be celebrating its first anniversary of AS4801 Workplace Health and Safety Certification.

  In August 2013, we committed ourselves to increase Occupational Health and Safety in the workplace.  By doing this, we fully complied with all requirements set by the national standard, indicating to our community that we are serious about protecting the health and safety of our employees and customers.

  The Brittain Group – inclusive of Materials Handling Pty Ltd, Sphere Global Pty Ltd, Schaefer Store Pty Ltd, Boplan Pty Ltd and Cherry Corporation Pty Ltd – was created in order to manage safety across all our sites.  Our objectives were to develop a system and culture that reinforced safe working practices.  We’ve trained our employees in all areas associated with AS4801 and are committed to continuously improving.

  Our safety system has successfully worked itself into all our processes.   With products and a workplace that meets relevant requirements, we can ensure our customers and employees are ‘working with ease…’.

  Materials Handling attended the 3PL (E-Warehouse Management and Solutions) show  at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (from 26-27 March).

  The 3PL Trade Show offered an excellent opportunity to network and hosted many key players and leaders in the logistics industry.

  

  

  Although it wasn’t a large show, in comparison to other exhibitions we have attended, the expo was all about quality not quantity.  With 30 or so exhibitors, the visitors who attended the event were really interested in the products on offer.

  We sent Chris Andrit to man our stand at the show and he had a great time talking to new customers.
