  Materials Handling is delighted to announce that we will be presenting at the Auspack Plus 2013 Exhibition (Australia’s International Exhibition of Packaging and Processing Machinery, Materials and Associated Technology).

  Auspack Plus 2013 aims to bring together companies who provide products and services integral to delivering complete production line solutions for packaging and processing industries in the Australasian region.

  With that, Materials Handling will be located at stand #810.  We’ll have plenty on display and heaps of new information about our products!  Make sure you stop by and have a chat to our amazing and friendly staff.  While your there, visit our friends CASI ANZ who will be showcasing their products at stand #225.

  The tradeshow willl run from Tuesday 7th to Friday 10th of May, 2013 at Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park.  The expo is open daily from 9am – 5pm.

  Oh the joys of another tradeshow!  This time we were at AIMEX 2013 – Asia-Pacific’s International Mining Exhibition – located in Sydney (Sydney Showground’s).  We were there from Tuesday 20th to Friday 23rd August, 2013.

  AIMEX 2013 was quite a big exhibition with approximately 600 exhibitors.  The expo is held every two years and is one of the largest mining events in the Asia-Pacific region.  Our team of experts, Robert Soban and Mark Collins, spent the 4-days talking to many new customers and suppliers.   Some of our products on display included our Cartmover’s, Miniveyor’s, Logimat and Aerosolv products.

  Our Knuffi product range was well received as well.  It’s popularity was evident as our display allowed onlookers to touch, see and experience it first hand.  Our impacting ??A-SAFE Bump’ collision video attracted many crowds as well!

  Our patented WIZ-KID are the latest in steel drum de-heading technology. There are two WIZ-KID models designed to open steel drums easily and safely.

  The Electric WIZ-KID drives itself around the drum chime, cutting and folding the metal toward the chime, leaving a safe, smooth, burr-free edge on the drum. It is the right choice for moderate to low drum volume. It de-heads most drums in less than two minutes.

  The Manual WIZ-KID is designed for use in remote areas, where no power source is available, or where drum volume is low and a manual tool is preferred.   Our Lifting Beams support heavy loads during overhead lifting applications.

  The Cable Drum Spreader Beam is designed for the safe transport of cable drums. It is particularly helpful for unwinding during installation.

  A shaft runs through the centre of the drum and is connected at both ends to a spreader beam via two chains.

  The cable drum rotates freely on bearings for smooth unwinding.

  Available in two standard sizes. We can customise to any length or capacity to suit your application.

  These devices are multi-tasking with use for crane and overhead lifting. Constructed in accordance with relevant Australian Standards, Lifting Beams are supplied with a user manual and certificate of conformity.
