Access Platforms – Folding Mobile
3rd March, 2017 | by excitemediaOur Mobile Access Platforms are manufactured from steel with a zinc-plated finish. Their construction allows them to fold down for transportation, convenience and storage.
If manoeuvred (i.e. the bottom step is folded down) the platform will lock into place and restrict unwanted movement.
Each step is 150mm wide and has a vertical rise of 235mm. Our 9-12 step units have an optional stability arm available.

Manipulator MechStack

MechStack is a manipulator for handling and loads up to 250 kg with a moment up to 2000 Nm. Simplex chains connecting the drive shafts with the lifting trolleys are well protected in the aluminium profiles. The lifter has a lift stroke of up to 4000 mm and is controlled by joystick via a frequency converter, giving a step less and synchronised lifting speed.
MechStack can be mounted on a wall, and constitutes then an assembly or stacking station. Alternatively, it can be mounted in a rail system and then also combined with Powerdrive for precision controlled sideways motions.
Typical applications for MechStack are for example stacking heavy or large sheet type components into pallets or racks and collecting or delivering components from a material supply area.

These electric and pneumatically operated lifting manipulators, are incredibly versatile and suitable for many types of handling solutions. Electric MechLift is ergonomically designed with moment-absorption and a step less frequency-controlled lifting speed by means of a joystick, for loads up to 650 kg.
Pneumatic MechLift is ergonomically designed with moment-absorption and pneumatically driven for loads up to 100 kg. Pneumatic MechLift is delivered outbalanced for a range of various loads, or with balancing function for one or more permanent loads. Both the electric and pneumatic lifters can be equipped with standard or custom-made gripper tools, and with Power Drive for precision controlled sideways motions
MechLift is designed with telescoping aluminium profiles that are anodised and completely maintenance free. The motor and gear units are well protected and mounted in the upper part of the outer profile. The protected lifting chain is accessible for easy inspection. MechLift can be delivered in many different designs; with various suspensions, dimensions and control units.
Typical applications for electric MechLift are for example handling of cable reels, carpet rolls, tanks, doors, windows, and various vehicle parts such as engines, gearboxes, shafts, and many more. It can also be used in holding assembly tools, such as large format screwdrivers.

The Long Tilt Jibs instantly convert a forklift into a small crane that’s ideal for handling delicate or irregularly shaped goods, general maintenance and most lifting tasks. The shackle is quickly moved into one of the lifting positions and the attachment is held onto a Forklift via a safety chain. These devices carry their own rating plates, so they can be used by virtually any lift truck.

Large Area Magnetic Sweepers (L.A.M.S) provide the answer to ensuring workplaces are clean and free from nasties that may cause damage or pose a hazard. With a robust design in stainless steel and aluminium, they are lightweight and a great materials handling solution.
These devices feature a far-reaching Neodymium magnet element to ensure no steel object escapes. They are available in 1.5 or 2.1-metre widths and can be towed or pushed by vehicles such as forklifts, tractors, trucks, ride-on mowers and so on. They skim the surface at a height of about 50 mm; with the inboard wheels, operators can sweep against walls and fences.
