Safe storage of medical oxygen cylinders must control the risks of the cylinders falling over, becoming airborne, suffering impact damage or leaking gas. Controls include perforated sides to enable airflow, restraints for stability, construction suitable for outdoor use and a lockable L-handle for security.

To control gas hazards when working with oxygen and medical gases, cylinders must be stored upright with attachments removed and valves closed. Oxygen cylinders should be individually restrained with chains to prevent cylinders from becoming unbalanced.
