Prosolv gas cylinder recycling system allows LPG canisters to be safely recycled as scrap steel instead of being disposed of as hazardous waste.

The propane cylinder recycling system empties and filters the propellant, converting the cylinder from hazardous to non-hazardous. The activated carbon filter removes volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from the propellant.

Used gas cylinders should be properly disposed of. This manually-operated venting device removes the sealing sleeve and internal valve stem from propane, MAPP, and 3/4″ (19mm) male threaded calibration gas cylinders. Not to be used with oxygen bottles.

Rather than incurring costs associated with hazardous waste disposal, users can now recycle the cylinders as scrap steel, resulting in cost savings for businesses and environmental benefits.

Along with the fuel canister venting device, the Prosolv system includes an activated carbon filter, anti-static wire, safety goggles and pliers.
