Overhead Door Monitors are your best protection aid when it comes to overhead doorways. These units detect activity from forklifts and mobile machinery or pedestrians before any pass through a blind doorway. The motion sensors on either side detect movement and alert when required.

Overhead Door Monitors are ideal for interior high-speed or strip doors. The units can easily be mounted on walls and used for a variety of warehouse and distribution centre applications. The door monitors reduce potential collisions or accidents, whilst improving processes and the overall safety of any organisation.

How do Overhead Door Monitors work?

The Overhead Door series is similar to the Hall Door Monitor series except with larger lights fitted to all enclosures.

Overhead Door Monitors keep interior doorways safe. The combination of their bright LED lights and motion sensors ensures facilities are protected from accidents. The motion sensors are designed to notify individuals as they approach a doorway and advise of a potential hazard to avoid a collision.

Before any person or vehicle passes through the space, sensors on the other side of the door detect motion and signal with flashing lights.

Overhead Door Monitors are available in several packages with varying amounts of lights and sensors. Our various models are outlined below:

Overhead Door Basic – Single (OHB1)

Includes 1 box, 1 light and 1 sensor
Mount the unit onto one side of the wall that you want to alert, with the sensor on the side you want to detect activity

Overhead Door Basic – Double (OHB2)

Includes 1 box, 2 lights and 1 sensor
Mount the unit onto one side of the wall, with the sensor on the other side in the area you want to detect

Overhead Door 2 (OH2)

Overhead Door 2 is designed to help create awareness of activity through blind overhead doorways!

Mount both units on each side of the opening connecting the two units with the harness provided
