Jibs – Cable and Hose Supply

Our Catenary Jib (also known as a charging station jib arm) is a professional solution to safely conduct cables and/or hoses above a workstation.

A wall-mounted jib allows the staff to work safely without electrical cables becoming a trip hazard in the work area. This creates a simplified work environment and minimises operator strain and setup times.

The jib boom is a zinc-plated enclosed steel profile. The maintenance-free pivot consists of a stainless steel pivot pin and self-lubricating bushes for smooth operation.

Each assembly is supplied complete with cable trolleys and an end-fix to secure round cable at the beginning of the jib profile. It is possible to add extra cable trolleys or a trolley to suspend tooling or a spring balancer. It is also possible to exchange the cable trolleys for a version suitable for flat cable.

Max load 10kg. The jib boom can be trimmed to length to suit your application (max Length = 3000mm).

Additional Information

This product uses an enclosed ‘C-track’ that allows the cable trolleys to freely run along the length of the profile. The rail profile is steel with a zinc-plated finish.

The rail pivots (slews) left and right manually as required by the operator demand. The pivot is fitted with self-lubricating bushes that require no maintenance. The pivot is supported by a bracket that can be mounted to the wall or a vertical column. The wall bracket and pivot have a yellow powder-coated finish.

Each jib is supplied flat-packed for assembly on site.

The Charging Station Jib is supplied as standard with (B) type cable trolleys and clamps to suit round cable (OD=10-16mm). It is possible to add extra cable trolleys.

The (B) type cable trolleys can be exchanged for (A) type or (C) type as required.

Cable trolleys can be removed if not required. It is possible to fit a single roller trolley that supports a spring balancer for tool suspension applications.
