Drum Lifting Rotators – Adjustable

Our Adjustable Drum Rotators utilise a patented variable band to lift and rotate drums ranging in size, from 50 to 220 litres. Completing any drum handling system, this device can be used on steel, plastic or fibre drums. The universal band easily adjusts to fit a variety of drum sizes. Another layer of protection is also added through an intelligent rim-locking feature, which prevents the drum from slipping while it’s being decanted.Â
Overhead and Adjustable Drum Rotators feature a Working Load Limit capacity of up to 350 kg. The drum rotator attaches with a ratchet and polyester strap. Its unique functionality and adjustment system suits almost any drum, allowing it to lift and rotate as required. The device is compatible with both overhead cranes and forklifts. Additionally and for zoned locations, a stainless steel model can be ATEX certified.

Our drum rotators can be mounted on a forklift or a crane to handle all types and sizes of drums. Additionally, they have been designed to adjust to a variety of drum materials (plastic, steel and fibreboard). They employ a patented variable band to rotate, lift and move drums. A rim-locking feature adds a second layer of security by preventing the drum from slipping while being decanted or moved.
There are two types of rotators available: Universal Band and Fixed Band. Models are also available with ATEX certification and weigh scales, as well as in stainless-steel models suitable for clean rooms and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
Universal Band Drum Rotator
Our Universal Drum Band (code: DRU02) is one of a kind. It easily handles steel, plastic, or fibre drums ranging in sizes and capacities with a strong adjustable band. Simply adjust the variable band to fit the drum’s size, then attach it with a ratchet and polyester strap. An upper rim clamp is also included for extra drum stability.

DRU02 Universal Drum Band
Fixed Band Drum Rotator
Using a crane or forklift truck, lift and pour drums from a height with our DRU02-FB Rotator. The over-centre clamp is quick, secure, and works well with large drums. The fast-acting over-centre clamp is adjustable to drums with diameters ranging from 580 to 600 mm (200- to 220-litre drums) and the mechanism is incredibly sturdy and robust.

DRU02-FB Fixed Drum Band
ATEX Drum Rotator (Weigh Scales)
The crane slung drum rotator with weigh scales lifts and tilts drums. Customers who need to measure material weight during decanting will benefit from this equipment. This model may be connected to a PC system to log weighing data in real-time, which is particularly useful in areas where quality control is crucial.
This system has an integrated weighing system for use when lifting. The load-cell function allows operators to accurately and confidently assess, manage and control material flow. The unit can log data into a computer, making it particularly helpful in modern factories and industrial facilities. The load cell is protected during usage and contained within the upper section of the DRU02 frame. If the load cell fails or is damaged, the load is kept secure thanks to the captive securing arrangement installed beneath the crane hook.
