Effective handling of process waste gives you a healthier bottom line...
Clean factory environments and the efficient handling of process waste are factors of paramount importance in today's manufacturing industries. Companies invest heavily in state of the art processing equipment, in order to maintain a competitive edge, but often overlook the need to efficiently handle the process waste generated by such equipment.
Pneumatic Conveying System
This method of conveying is widely used throughout industry to transfer granules, pellets and small moulded products. Conveying of materials can be effected utilizing either a positive pressure air stream or a negative pressure air stream (vacuum). The Multiair blowers with inbuilt sound attenuators are the driving force for these systems.
Recycling of re-granulated plastic - separation of dust and label remnants.
Re-granulated plastic bottles and waste plastics often include a proportion of dust or impurities (paper labels) which can have a detrimental effect on the reprocessing of the material. Not only can we convey the reground material, but our air separation equipment can minimize the dust/impurity content of the regranulated plastic.
Waste from blow moulding and injection moulding machines to granulator.
During the above manufacturing process, waste plastic is generated in the form of tops and tails from blow moulding machines and sprouts from injection moulding machines. These waste products can be conveyed directly to the granulator, utilizing our modular pneumatic technology.
Continuous trims from film/foil production machines, slitters/rewinders and paper manufacturing machines.
A patented in-line venturi and our standard range of modular pneumatic components enables continuous trim to be conveyed to a waste collection/processing area. Using the Multicutter unit, which has the capacity to handle the trims from up to four machines working simultaneously, the volume of the conveyed trim can be drastically reduced, thus removing the need for a compactor/bailing machine. But, if you need one, refer to the index for our range.
Modular components
All of our pneumatic conveying systems are assembled from standard components all of which are fully interchangeable allowing for ease of assembly and choice of conveying route. This means that a system is easily modified, if necessary, or the capacity can be increased by changing a few components. All this is available by following a few simple guidelines.

Your benefits:
Conveying of off-cuts

This is a thoroughly tested and efficient conveying system that returns the offcuts - as generated in the production or converting of paper, printing and packaging material - for either reclamation or disposal.
Clean working environment
The paper industry in particular generates a large quantity of dust with each process. Using the vacuum conveying systems alleviates this problem by carrying away dust with the paper edge trim.
Productivity
Handling process waste need no longer cause a bottle neck in the production process. This system frees manpower resources and space for other purposes.
Profitability
Process waste is a valuable material. With our solution, optimum utilization of all raw materials can be achieved by the immediate recycling or re-introduction into the production cycle.

Specialists in the paper, plastics and packaging industry.
We specialise in the conveying, compaction and cleaning of process waste within the paper, plastics and packaging industries, thus giving your company direct access to trade oriented know-how on process waste handling.
Suction System
The Multiair is positioned downstream of the cyclone. A rotary valve in the cyclone outlet provides the air seal. This system can collect and convey material from onfloor storage, bulk storage or directly from the outlet of a process. The Multicutter cuts strips into smaller pieces to take up less space during storage and handling.
Pressurised system
The material must be supplied from a hopper to either an injector for low capacity installations or a rotary valve for high capacities. A special rotary valve must be used for installations with the largest capacities. The Multair is positioned in front of the infeed. The cyclone separates the conveying air from the material.
