Dispose of damaged or unwanted 205litre drums and save on space, transport and handling whilst enabling safe and easy recycling. Insert the drum, close the safety, interlocking door and press the button for automatic compaction. 20tonnes of pressure reduces a 205litre drum to 75mm high disc in just an 80 second cycle. It is fitted with a rear ejection door so as you insert another empty drum to be compacted, it pushes the previously compacted drum out. It's a brute. Can also be used for 60 and 20litre drums. It is extremely safe and will not operate unless the door is closed. A pallet with 48 crushed drums has a product height of only 900mm making it ideal for disposing of drums in remote mining sites etc. There is an economy version with 13tonnes of pressure that crushes the drums down to a disc, 200--250mm flat. We also have a flameproof version & a scaled down version for 20litre and smaller drums.
