They are highly versatile, allowing facile attachment of the units to existing lifting equipment or our Air & Electric Hoists.
The LRWK reel-handling unit is used for lifting reels with materials that will telescope if lifted by the core alone. It pneumatically grips the reel between a mandrel in the core and a gripper on the outside diameter of the reel and also uses the pneumatics to rotate the reel through 90 degrees. The maximum safe working load is 300 kg. It can handle reels up to 1200mm diameter & 1200mm wide. A quick-change system easily changes to a different mandrel size without tools.
