The Q series aims to reduce maintenance costs as well as improving ease of use. The swivel head consists of a precision ground ball race, rubber shielded and virtually maintenance free under normal working conditions. This also maximises ease of swivel. Finished in chrome, the Q series complements most institutional equipment, be it finished in stainless steel, powder coated, aluminium, zinc or chrome plating. Threadguards optional - specify at time of order All wheels use an 8mm axle. Plain bearing wheels use a 12mm stainless steel axle bush reducing to 8mm.

Choosing the right castor
• firstly select the wheel code, eg AQSQ150G
• then the castor frame from one of the next four columns, eg AQSQ150G/QCP
• brake or directional lock? Select TB or DL from final columns, eg AQSQ150G/QCPTB

Forks
This premium fork is designed for use in hospitals, institutions, cafeterias, laboratories, etc. where the need for a good looking low maintenance castor is most important. The double shielded precision bearing head reduces maintenance costs and increases the life of the castor. The most commonly used fitting is the expanding tubular stem (E stem - expanding adaptors). For normal use nylon or rubber fittings are tightly locked on the inside of a tube simply by screwing up the stem by its head. (Caution - because of the stresses imposed by larger diameter castors, expanding stem fittings are not recommended for use on 175 or 200mm castors). Other mountings are Plate, Bolt Hole and Solid Stem. Total Brake or Directional Lock can also be fitted.
