Light Duty Institutional - hospitals, retailers, laboratories ‘K’ Series

 

Over the years the K series has proven itself to be a good all-round lighter institutional castor. It is fitted with twin raceways for ease of swivelling zinc plated, then clear lacquered. Normally used in hospitals, schools and retail outlets, the K series is also ideally suited for use on many home furnishings such as TV trolleys, desks, microwave stands, etc.

 

Forks
This is the traditional fork widely used on lighter hospital and display equipment. Two complete rows of balls ensure ease of swivelling and silence during the life of the trolley. Zinc plated, finished with a clear lacquer, ideally suited for use on stainless steel, chromed, aluminium, metal or wooden furniture.

 

Choosing the right castor
• firstly select the wheel code, eg AKNN100
• where available as an option *, add threadguards, eg AKNN100G
• then the castor frame from one of the next four columns, eg AKNN100G/KZP
• brake? Select TB from final column, eg AKNN100G/KZPTB (not available on fixed)
